I am a contemporary and physical theater dancer from Italy. My passion for movement, body dynamics and its physical expression inspired me to study and dance with internationally acclaimed Master Teachers and Choreographers, among which Mauro Astolfi, Loris Petrillo and particularly influential Choreographer/Dramaturge and lifelong friend Loredana Parrella.
I moved to New York in 2005 where I continued my artistic pursuit and started to study acting and perform with Thomas G. Waites at TGW Actors Studio.
In 2016 I graduated from the two years conservatory program at William Esper Studio, NYC where I studied Meisner Technique with my hero Suzanne Esper.
Since then I have been dedicating my career to independent films, although I have been always loyal to my first love: Theater and Physical Theater.
In 2017 I wrote and produced two short films that have been successful in the festival circuits: the award winners “Unvoiced” Directed by Jeremiah Kipp, and “Open”Directed by DT Sheridan. In 2019 I had the pleasure to work as TV correspondent for Podcast show “No Rest For The Weekend” by Jason Godbay, covering the press for Soho International Film Festival, NY TV Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, Bowery Film Festival and more to come. In 2019 I wrote and produced my third short film, the thriller film-noir "Sins" Directed by Jeremiah Kipp, currently in post-production.
Based on the short film "Sins" , I wrote, in close collaboration with Jeremiah Kipp, my first feature film. We are planning to film in 2020. I am currently developing my next project, a dramatic feature film based on a true story. Its working title is "A Rose Is A Rose".
"Ilaria is a superb theater artist with an indomitable spirit and a super charged talent. A sheer joy to work with!”.
